March 14, 201016 yr I just managed to get V-Sync to work reliably on my ATI (Gigabyte) 5870, on Vista 64 with the Catalyst 10.2 drivers. The trick was to use ATI Tray Tools (V1.6.9.1472, from www.guru3d.com) to build a profile for FSX, and then run FSX from the ATT dropdown menu. In the Direct3D Tweaks tab, check "Force VSync (Vista Workaround) box and UNcheck the "Force to use triple buffers" box. FWIW, the other settings in the profile I use are:Anti-Aliasing: 4X/Wide-tentAdaptive AA checkedSS Mode: QualityMS Mode: 2AF: Quality with Trilinear/16XEnable High Quality AF is checkedTexture Preference: High QualityMipMap Detail level: High QualityWait for Vertical Sync: Always OnCatalyst AI: highSupport DXT and Bump mapping both checkedGeometry Instancing: checkedIt seems that with the Force VSync workaround enabled in ATT, there is much less tearing also in windowed mode, although there is some. Also, anytime a 2D window is opened/closed when using this setting, the screen flashes. For someone flying in a VC most of the time, it's probably a good way to go. For people like me that use 2D still, the flashing every time you open/close a subpanel may be more annoying than the tearing with VSync off.RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO Bob Scott | President and CEO, AVSIM Inc ATP Gulfstream II-III-IV-V Sys1 (MSFS20+24/XPlane12+11): AMD 9800X3D, water 2x240mm, MSI MPG X670E Carbon, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, nVidia RTX4090FE Alienware AW3821DW 38" 21:9 GSync, 2x4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2x2TB Samsung 990 SSD, EVGA 1000P2 PSU, 12.9" iPad Pro Thrustmaster TCA Boeing Yoke, TCA Airbus Sidestick, Twin TCA Airbus Throttle quads, PFC Cirrus Pedals, Coolermaster HAF932 case Sys2 (P3Dv5/v4): i9-13900KS, water 2x360mm, ASUS Z790 Hero, 32GB GSkill 7800MHz CAS36, ASUS RTX4090 Samsung 55" JS8500 4K TV@60Hz, 3x 2TB WD SN850X 1x 4TB Crucial P3 M.2 NVME SSD, EVGA 1600T2 PSU Fiber link to Yamaha RX-V467 Home Theater Receiver, Polk/Klipsch 6" bookshelf speakers, Polk 12" subwoofer, 12.9" iPad Pro PFC yoke/throttle quad/pedals with custom Hall sensor retrofit, Thermaltake View 71 case, Stream Deck XL button box Sys3 (DCS/P3Dv4/ATS/ETS): AMD 7800X3D, MSI MPG X870E Carbon, Noctua NH-D15S, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, EVGA RTX3090 Alienware AW3420DW 34" 21:9 GSync, Corsair HX1000i PSU, 4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2TB Samsung 970Evo Plus, TM TCA Officer Pack, Saitek combat pedals, TM Warthog, TM RS300 FF wheel/pedals, Coolermaster HAF XB case
March 15, 201016 yr These are good news. Maybe it is the new Version of ATT but it's the first time I got VSYNC in Windows 7 64-Bit with my 4850. However, I don't think I will be able to use this as it does not work with FPS Limiter, as it will only allow .exe files (fsx.exe) for profiles. Any ideas?

Any ideas? There's a nice freeware utility that'll convert a .bat file to an exe file at: http://www.fyxm.net/batch-to-exe-75643.htmlThat said, I doubt that the ATT VSync tweak will work in conjunction with the FPL renderer hook.CheersBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO Bob Scott | President and CEO, AVSIM Inc ATP Gulfstream II-III-IV-V Sys1 (MSFS20+24/XPlane12+11): AMD 9800X3D, water 2x240mm, MSI MPG X670E Carbon, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, nVidia RTX4090FE Alienware AW3821DW 38" 21:9 GSync, 2x4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2x2TB Samsung 990 SSD, EVGA 1000P2 PSU, 12.9" iPad Pro Thrustmaster TCA Boeing Yoke, TCA Airbus Sidestick, Twin TCA Airbus Throttle quads, PFC Cirrus Pedals, Coolermaster HAF932 case Sys2 (P3Dv5/v4): i9-13900KS, water 2x360mm, ASUS Z790 Hero, 32GB GSkill 7800MHz CAS36, ASUS RTX4090 Samsung 55" JS8500 4K TV@60Hz, 3x 2TB WD SN850X 1x 4TB Crucial P3 M.2 NVME SSD, EVGA 1600T2 PSU Fiber link to Yamaha RX-V467 Home Theater Receiver, Polk/Klipsch 6" bookshelf speakers, Polk 12" subwoofer, 12.9" iPad Pro PFC yoke/throttle quad/pedals with custom Hall sensor retrofit, Thermaltake View 71 case, Stream Deck XL button box Sys3 (DCS/P3Dv4/ATS/ETS): AMD 7800X3D, MSI MPG X870E Carbon, Noctua NH-D15S, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, EVGA RTX3090 Alienware AW3420DW 34" 21:9 GSync, Corsair HX1000i PSU, 4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2TB Samsung 970Evo Plus, TM TCA Officer Pack, Saitek combat pedals, TM Warthog, TM RS300 FF wheel/pedals, Coolermaster HAF XB case
