TO/GA switch

Featured Replies

Hi people,I have a question. When u take off, it says in the manual that when u advance the throttles, you will hear the click sound (TO/GA button activates on the throttles). And u will hear the click once more after the throttles stabilized. When i advance the throttles, I DO NOT however hear any clicking sounds. Only when u yourself manually click the TO/GA button on the throttles?ThanxNikita Travkin

Need to have set the FMC up for the takeoff AND pressed the PROF (profile) button AND the Autoflight button once prior to advancing the throttles. (In that order)If you do not do these steps it will not click into TOGA on advancing the throttles alone.RegardsTrent Hopkinson

Trent,Pressing Prof is NOT required to get ATS into take-off mode. Pressing Auto Flight is enough as it will arm/activate ATS.Markus
