VC Rain Effects - Blue Droplets??

Featured Replies

Is it just me or are the moving water droplets in the VC actually blue? The rain looks awesome in 2D, but lousy in the VC. Just wondering if this is a video related issue or if the rain drops are really blue :)I removed my VCRainMoving????.bmp from my scenedb/world/texture folder for the time being.

It might be a driver issue. Mine look fine, in fact I think they're quite well done. I can post a pic of what I see if you think it'd help you.thanks,

That would be very helpful for comparison's sake. The motion of the VC rain is great, but the drops themselves are not transparent and are a funny shade of blue and look terribly "grainy and pixelated".Also, if you could post what video card you use and the driver version (along with any special settings you might be using...FSAA, No FSAA, anisotropic filtering, etc...)

I am in the early stages of testing/tweaking.I have noticed the blue droplets when in the VC.I have GF4-ti4600 29.80 drivers, running 2xQ AA, and AF 4 tap.All the effects, texture related sliders are full right. - Myles

Could it be that the aircraft you are running has tinted glass? My aircraft (debonair) for instance does not have tinted glass on the front windshield (like reality) but does on the side windows (like reality).Just a thought...http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/Geofdog2.jpg
