March 31, 201016 yr Hello all , get a small question for you , i got very nice scheme for the Carenado 172N - for FSX . how can i change the file to work with FS9 172N ??what are the difference between the two ??thanks in advance , Best regardsBush man
April 1, 201016 yr For the most part FS9 textures which are in DTX3 will work in FSX, although there are exceptions to the rule as long as you have DX10 Preview disabled in FSX.Of course there are exceptions to the rule, but it doesn't hurt to install the textures and see what happens. April 1, 201016 yr Moderator The short answer is that most likely you can't. Textures used for one model (such as a Carenado for FSX) won't work with another company's model. The UVW Mapping is entirely different... Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
