Reinstall the Video Driver? Maybe an Updated Video Driver?

Did you also delete the FSX folder and its contents and then reboot before you reinstalled FSX?

Sounds like a bad video card driver installation. Have you tried renaming your fsx.cfg then restarting FSX and letting the config rebuild as perhaps FSX is not identifying your card correctly. If that doesn't work I would completely uninstall your video card drivers, use a free registry cleaner, then reinstall the drivers. Make sure the driver version is 64 bit (although the OS will normally let you know if you try to install the 32 bit).Best regards,Jim
