graphical glitch with fs2004 (low vis and fog)

hi,I am getting this weird problem when ever my machine tries to render fog or low visibility in fs2004. This is what happens when I lower the visibility..........(look at the pic). Also it doesent show in the pic but when this happens all my autogen objects turn white. I have a feeling this has to do with my video card (radeon 9000 pro is an 8500 with a new name) BTW.
