Missing airport lights

Featured Replies

Hello dear Avsim members,I haven't flown in FSX for a few months and I have just found that all airports have no runway and taxiway lights. Does anyone know a solution to fixing this? Thank you.

Hi,I had a problem when I altered the halo.bmp file, I've since fixed the problem. Check to make sure you have a "halo.bmp" file in your FSX/TEXTURES directory, then check or add the following lines to your FSX.CFG file. Adjust the settings to your liking.[Display]RUNWAY_LIGHTS_SURFACE_SCALAR=1.2 //Runway LightsRUNWAY_LIGHTS_VASI_SCALAR=0.7 // VASI LightsRUNWAY_LIGHTS_APPROACH_SCALAR=0.6 // Approach BarsRUNWAY_LIGHTS_STROBE_SCALAR=0.8 // StrobesIf you still have a problem, try replacing the "halo.bmp" file.Hope this helps
