X-Plane 10 Aircraft - Exterior Light Help
Hi Everybody, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to adjust the lights for XP10 aircraft. I'd like to reduce these lights by two thirds. Anyone here familiar with XP10 settings that can lend a hand? Multi screen use
I use one computer/monitor for each view for my external views, total three computers/ three 75" monitors. I use ZHSI for my glass screens on an additional computer for the other four screens. You could use Air Manager for your display screens.

Nvidia App Filters Workaround in MS2024 - Latest Drivers
Sorry to hear that, not sure if it matters. I installed MS2024 in its own MS2024 folder off of the C drive and my version is not the steam edition. Again not sure if this matters or not.

Nvidia App Filters Workaround in MS2024 - Latest Drivers
Yep, that seems to work with the latest graphics drivers. Not sure what this does to third party addons though.

Nvidia App Filters Workaround in MS2024 - Latest Drivers
Hi Everybody, Went back to some old work arounds that I’d found over time. It seems this one works to get the Nvidia App Filters working again. Not sure if any third party addons will have issues with this work around, so use this at your own risk!

Glass Out is here!
Yep, I run a full flight deck and I'm running the pmdg 738, only gauge I can't pop out is the standby RMI. Here I used a script for the displays, but that's not needed anymore, just run the client/server setup. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ul1ZhRH_UT8

X-World Pro - Q&A with the author...
You would think they would want to show off the new overall look of the new addition and not downgrade anything.

X-World Pro - Q&A with the author...
I get it myself, nothing difficult to understand. But I wonder... Is it best to show off the product as you would see through most of the addon or do we want them to select the best they could find which may be in specific small areas that don't necessarily represent the entire package, then when purchased most that don't know any better would be disappointed.

New 3D Grass addon for XP12
If they do have grass I hope it won't pop up in front of the aircraft! Looks pretty bad with that lawn mower scene, can only imagine the pop in going on when moving faster in an aircraft. Why no low flying aircraft in that video?

X-World Pro - Q&A with the author...
Third party creators may or may not visit online forums, if they don't that's a determent to their company. But you can bet their bottom dollar they care about word spreading through social media that complains about issues/short comings. You have a better shot at getting something done/fixed/upgraded by creating a large backing for the issue at hand than writing a person email to any creator! As far as food and garbage, one has a better shot at getting something cooked right if instead of complaining to the garbage man, you complain to a food critic that has the ability to spread the word!

X-World Pro - Q&A with the author...
WRONG!!!!! If I'm going to spend my hard earned cash on a product I have every right to criticize aspects I don't like. That's the problem with people today, everyone wants to kiss the L/R, P3D, MS2020/2024 rings depending on which sim they use. Only thing that does is SLOW PROGRESS, why fix things if no one criticizes! The saying was true when it was first said way back when as it is today, the squeaky wheel gets the oil!

Glass Out is here!
I would imagine that the fuel selector is not an instrument, panel or gauge, It's a switch. Since there is no logic from glassout it wouldn't know what to do with that switch.

As soon as I crank up the flight deck I'm going to try and fragment the IRS display. Not sure what you're trying to grab.

MSFS Popout does not run via network as glassout does.

Glass Out is here!
It does panels, gauges and instruments from what I've read. Haven't tried to fragment yet, want to do that with the IRS display for the aft overhead.

Glass Out is here!
Hi Everybody, I run a full flight deck from Flightdeck Solutions and I use both X-Plane 12 and MS2024, whenever I want to switch base platforms I had to move numerous cables between computers. Well that's over thanks to glassout... no more will I be hammering my MS2024 computer with SEVEN monitors, I'm down to three for my external views and one for the lower MFD for Say AI. This is big for hardware users!

You can pop out panels or fragments of panels.

Glassout - PMDG - Networking Glass Screens
Hi Everybody, I run a full flight deck from Flightdeck Solutions and I use both X-Plane 12 and MS2024, whenever I want to switch base platforms I had to move numerous cables between computers. Well that is now over thanks to glassout... no more will I be hammering my MS2024 computer with SEVEN monitors, I'm down to three for my external views. So how was this done. For starters I purchased a program called glassout for $16.00. Not sure if their link is permitted, if not please remove it and accept my apology. glassout Link: https://glassout.flyingart.dev/ On the MS2024 computer you install glassout and register the program, minimize it with MS2024 running so you can see the 3D panel. Next you need firefox on your secondary computer, once that's installed you'll need to run a script to open the glass screens in firefox. This is the script:: NOTE: You'll have to position the glass screens to reflect your hardware setup, this isn't simple plug and play. It's the last line in each section. You'll also have to change the URL addresses to reflect yours. Add-Type -TypeDefinition @" using System; using System.Runtime.InteropServices; public class WindowManager { [DllImport("user32.dll")] public static extern bool SetWindowPos(IntPtr hWnd, IntPtr hWndInsertAfter, int X, int Y, int cx, int cy, uint uFlags); } "@ # ================================================== ======================= # CONFIGURATION OF URL # ================================================== ======================= $URL_CaptPFD = "http://192.168.1.233:8787/panel/du-leftoutboard?fps=60" $URL_CaptND = "http://192.168.1.233:8787/panel/du-leftinboard?fps=60" $URL_UpperMFD = "http://192.168.1.233:8787/panel/du-upper?fps=60" $URL_FOND = "http://192.168.1.233:8787/panel/du-rightinboard?fps=60" $URL_FOPFD = "http://192.168.1.233:8787/panel/du-rightoutboard?fps=60" # ================================================== ======================= # Window Opening & Position (With Windows Screen Offset) # ================================================== ======================= # --- 1. Glassout via Network
Hi Everybody, Looks like Popout Panel Manager could be a thing of the past. Here we have a $16.00 beta/$22.00 when released glass screens manager called "glassout" and can be used via network. This should allow me to run just the external views in MS2024 reducing the demand on the server computer, with the other four monitors working via the network. So I'll be able to switch between XP12 and MS2024 just by moving two cables to my external monitors. Glassout: https://glassout.flyingart.dev/

1400 & 1401 Vehicles
I even went so far as to remove AEP and Mr. X library form Custom Scenery, everything else is just about default. Still see the vehicles.
