April 26, 201016 yr Chris, what point are you trying to make other then proving your just the forum clown. I did not see moderator in your sig anywhere. If you "built" your own computer then you "should" know that the OS and major programs dont require more then 50GB of space, so why are you challenging me about what is on my computer. You must be running Autocad12 and Adobe CS5 to require all those HD's. Not sure if your just trying to be cool in front of other Avsim members or trying to show off your "uber rig/look at me" If AVSIM did a review on the product, then it must be flight sim related.. :(

Manhattan X, AES 2.05 etc. |Hey Chris, So far from what I have seen is that the highest OC 980X was reported at 4.4Ghz off of (LN2) and you achieved a whopping 4.8Ghz :( off of a air cooler...Got a link to show the community your record air cooled over clock. Lets see some CPU-Z pics of that setup and your SLI Fermi setup. :( Post some pics and I will +rep you.
April 26, 201016 yr I'm not sure why you think liquid nitrogen is necessary to overclock the 980x to 4.4GHz, LN2 cooling is capable of pushing 32nm Core i7 products to well beyond 5GHz, even to 6GHz or more. 4.8GHz on air cooling seems a stretch, but I wouldn't rule out the possibility since 4.5GHz isn't entirely uncommon with i7s and good air coolers.
April 26, 201016 yr I want to see the 4.8Ghz on air when on other forums people cant keep them stable at 4.5Ghz with dual loops and quad radiators. The dude comes out with his spurs on and wants to draw down with me, he better skin that smoke wagon. He didnt know what rpm the WD drives where from the first post even though he claims to own 2 velociraptors and a SSD and cant comprehend how I can fit a OS and ""major programs"" on 80Gb SSD despite "claiming to be a custom PC builder". I call B.S. I have no affiliation with Ultimate Defrag and AVSIM even did a comprehensive review on it. Many members come on here and find tib bits of info and try them and either like them and tell people or delete them and careless. This is a open forum where sharing is allowed its up to the moderators to police the posts. If he posts a pic of CPU-Z and his Fermis, I will drop it.
April 27, 201016 yr If you actually learned to read correctly, you will see that I am not using my fermis due to beta drivers. Also I'm using a coolermaster v10 200w cooler, one of the best available. 4.8ghz isn't a stretch whatsoever. As for not knowing what RPM the drives were, you still get 5400RPM WD HDs so you are clearly mistaken.
April 27, 201016 yr http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=283436Uhh Ohh. Some one is talking about there defrag program Chris, might want to go lay down the law.. :(
April 27, 201016 yr Uh-oh ur clearly an idiot who cannot read. That thread is someone asking for help about defragmentation, they aren't trying to sell us a product.
