August 4, 200322 yr ....and I thought that "FSFSCONV" died with FS2000 and FS98. Actually they look useful, but when I tried to use one of the heavy.3 folders for the FFX DC10, I couldnt get it to read the main panel bitmaps. Tried copying and combining with the current full heavy and 737 panels, just couldnt make it work!! Any ideas!!!??Randy Jura, KPDX
August 4, 200322 yr That's because there's a small bug in the panel.cfg under fsfconv/panel.jet.heavy.3Change Boeing737-400.bmp to main_1024.bmp (maybe needs more changes). The others probably have similar errors.I guess someone just forgot to remove the directory or left it in place for backwards compatibility while someone else changed the bitmap filenames for the default panels and they didn't crosscheck.Common problem, especially as it's been there for so long and everyone probably has forgotten it's even there :)
August 4, 200322 yr Not me! It was the first thing I created in FS2002 and I have scores of sound and panel folders in there. Good to see it back in FS2004, LOL! I've already aliased a lot of stuff and it works fine, of course. Nothing's changed there.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
August 4, 200322 yr Author Here too, I utilized the FSFSCONV folder extensively in FS 2002 for panel AND sound folders and hope to do the same in FS2004 once I get it later this week. http://avsim.com/hjg/images/logos/a/american_airlines.gifAlex ChristoffN562ZBaltimore, MD PowerSpec G426 PC running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit OS, Intel Core i7 11700K @ 3.60GHz 30 °C, 4089MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 , ASUS TUF Z590-Plus Gaming motherboard, Samsung 870 EVO 2TB SSD, Samsung 750 EVO 500GB SSD, Acer Predator X34 34" curved monitor (external view), RealSim Gear G-1000 avionics suite, RealSim Gear GNS 450, Slavix Stay Level Custom Metal Panel, Honeycomb Alpha Yoke, Redbird Alloy THI, Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals.
