Ambient cockpit sounds file

Featured Replies

Am trying to locate a sound file I once downloaded here that provided ambient sounds in the cockpit. These were rattling, squeaking bumping sounds that added quite a bit. Have done a search but without success. Do not remember the name of the file. Maybe someone here remembers. Thanks in advance.

Hi Joe. Were these sounds associated with the aircraft during taxi or the aircraft in flight? Both? If during taxi, I might be able to help.Best regards,Mel

Hi Mel,These sounds were during taxi and takeoff. During the takeoff roll they became more pronounced. After liftoff they disappeared. Thanks.

Here are two files that are available here at AVSIM: 'bnrollnew.zip' and 'runways_groundroll.zip'. I think I use what is probably some parts provided by authors who have included roll sounds in their engine sound files, mixed a matched to fit my personal taste. One I use in my smaller Airbus models is pretty good (I think). If your are interested I can package that up [WAV files and excerpt of the sound cfg] as long as I can track down the original authors names so they get proper creditfor their work. If you are interested just PM me.Regards,Mel
