The Next Big Thing..

Greetings,Lately the flight simulation world suffered two of the biggest changes. Two well known and respected airline groups ceased operations just this year, one month after the other. Seeing this I want to create a very large virtual airline project. This project will consist of a large community of virtual pilots that just love to fly for any airline with the tools required to simulate with a great degree of realism. My plan is to create an airline group of 80+ airlines with realistic routes, departure times, and aircraft. In order to complete something this large in scale I need a large team of people to collaborate in making this possible. Right now there

I wish you good luck Albyen, I really do.But the task is HUGE, especially for a large VA that is aiming to simulate many different airlines. You will have legalities and permissions to handle with all of the real world versions of these airlines before you start any work in the virtual world for your web-site.Something on the scale that you are aiming will also require advanced programming skills to set up the automated PIREP facilities that people will expect. (You won't attract enough pilots / members unless you can offer them something better than they get at their current VA).Do you have a background in web design or programming?I don't mean to put down your idea and I genuinely hope you are successful but so many people have aimed to set up VAs (on a much smaller scale than yours) and have come across major issued that prevented them becomming successful.I would personally aim a little smaller initially (2 or 3 airlines) and see how you can grow from there.Best regards,

There is no need to worry about any legal issues. Everything that will need to be taken care of will be taken care of.

We have already discussed this within our managment team. At this time we have a few people already working on an ACARS system for the pilots. We also have a team of web developers that will begin working on the website shortly. One of our founding members is very skilled in PHP and MySQL, he will be developing the backend of the web site.

Our management team has much experience in running a VA. We know these issues and how to overcome them. I understand your concerns, and they are valid. However, the founders and I have already thought of these problems and we have solutions for them.Kindly,Albyen Fezga[email protected]

Where is a link to this site ? Sounds very interesting.I am sure if it is going to be as good as you explain many will become members.
