ASE depicts incorrect weather into FSX

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,I have posted on HIFI and want to spread my search. Here is my issue....I have updated my ASE with the new update from yesterday. Ase does not depict the correct weather into FSX. For example, I am parked at the gate in Atlanta and ASE is indicating a layer of Few clouds at 4500 and a layer of Scattered at 10000. FSX is only showing a layer of clouds at 6500, which i confirmed by slewing the aircreaft up to that level. No clouds at 4500 or 10000. I even tried to manually adjust the weather and try to load it, but it would never depict into FSX. I have read a few times where people will "clear weather" through FSUIPC and ASE will depict the most current weather into FSX. If i "clear weather" from FSUIPC, it will stay clear. ASE will continue to say that it is depicting, but no weather in FSX. Can anyone help me figure out what is wrong??Thank YOu in advance!!PhilJust to add....If I close ASE and restart it, it will then communicate with FSX and depict the correct weather into FSX. After that it will never depict correct weather.

Hi,What operating system? With ASE and FSX running, is the weather automatically set to User Defined? What version of FSX, Deluxe, SP2, Acceleration? Are you starting ASE first, then FSX?
