I actually tried to disconnect my Saitek controls from controlling any trim. I though that had fixed it, but unfortunately it didn't. I believe it is a trim issue. When any of us descend in this aircraft, check out the trim control tab. It continuously moves, I agree that it seems to fighting itself and cant find an equilibrium. Phil

Anyone get any resolve? I have been told by PMDG to do a reinstall of the 777. I am thinking something else is going on here. Phil

I have this issue as well. Did a short flight with no weather engines. Just had the sim running and clear weather in FSX. In V/S mode descending at -1100 FPM the plane would pitch up and the down through the descent. Hopefully this can be fixed. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Just curious....what would happen if you turned off all your traffic settings. Meaning 0 airline traffic, 0 GA traffic, 0 ships, 0 cars, etc. those are real frame rate killers. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

I would not upgrade to windows 8. IMO. It is truly meant to be for touch screen and tablet applications. And if you are only running FSX on your system then there is no need to go through the time and money of upgrading. I hear Microsoft will be doing a major upgrade to Windows 8 later this year. Might be worth it to hold out and see what will happen with that. Phil

I had the same issue as well. All I did was update FSUIPC to the most recent and that fixed the problem. I also increased the null zone in FSX for the toe brakes. All is good now. Phil

IMO, I would not reinstall the OS while on an overclocked system. This could create an instability and installation issues. It is best to just go into the BIOS prior to reinstall and save your current settings. Once saved you can load the default settings. Then you can do the reinstallation. Great pictures! One thing I noticed is that it appears that the lights go far into the distance. With these lights and UTX I can't get them any farther than a couple mile radius around the aircraft. It looks like your lights cover the entire cityscape. Did you do anything to accomplish this?? Thanks, Phil

Hey Sean,If you notice with SP2 there are three different weather depiction modes: Standard, Smooth Cloud Transitions and Direct Weather Control. If your prior build did not have these options, ASE was default Smooth Cloud Transitions and you can choose to turn on DWC. If you want that then choose "Smooth Cloud Transitions" or "Direct Weather Control" and your studders will go away. Phil

Hi Cohort,I am one of the guys that had a visibility issue that when using visibility smoothing and DWC I would get ground visibility all the up through cruise altitude. This update fixed this issue for me. This was specific with FSX as far as I know. Try your flight without visibility smoothing checked and see what happens. As Jim mentioned, this may be an update only for FSX. Phil
