May 3, 201016 yr Hi,I will make the request, but if the station is not in the wx snapshot file, that means that our weather sources are not supplying the data. But, if the data appears in the download in the next few days, then we can change things.
May 3, 201016 yr Author Thanks Jim.I found the metar from the NOAA snapshot. Will keep an eye.RegardsJannie Regards Jannie Roelofse Flight1 Software Project Manager
May 8, 201016 yr Author Hi Jim,A. Any update yet for adding the FALE metar?B. Please also take a look at the newly attached screen shot.1. Interpolate with a station in New Zealand 3625nm away, this is related to another thread here too.2. Look at the FALE metar what is the 16255 after the wind direction and speed?ThanksJannie Regards Jannie Roelofse Flight1 Software Project Manager
May 9, 201016 yr Hi,FALE is not in the weather snapshot so ASE cannot depict it. We usually add stations with a Service Pack release and seeing we just released SP1, SP2 is along way down the road. The 16225 is the visibility being influenced by the 4800.What happens if you leave things as FADN with the interpolation?
May 9, 201016 yr Author Hi Jim1. Why does it interpolate with a station on a Continent 3625nm away, don Regards Jannie Roelofse Flight1 Software Project Manager
May 10, 201016 yr Hi,It could be that FS and ASE have no idea where FALE is.You have a vis of 9999 which is unlimited. You have a vis of 4800. You have another vis of 9999 which is unlimited. And you have a vis of /////// which is un-reported, undefined.
August 12, 201015 yr Author *bump*Hi Jim, any plans to include FALE into new service pack b58x as suggested previously?ThanksJannie Regards Jannie Roelofse Flight1 Software Project Manager
August 13, 201015 yr Hi,It's on the list, but it needs to a part of a larger SP. The latest was just to fix a minor issue and fix it again in FS9.
December 14, 201015 yr Author *bump*Hi JimI see FALE was not added to ASE SP2?ThanksJannie Regards Jannie Roelofse Flight1 Software Project Manager
March 31, 201115 yr Hi,No it wasn't, but it is still on the fix list.Hi Jim,Just flying down there now, and went to look for the weather information in ASE, and it's still not listed! - Over 10 months since the initial request Can this not be fixed? Thanks,Jack
March 31, 201115 yr Hi,Not easily, at both the server end and the client end. It's on the list, as it was on Dec. 14th.
