FS9 Scenery Library

Featured Replies

If I choose to bypass the opening screen is it possible to access the Scenery Library from within FS9? In FS2002 one could use the World Menu and then Scenery Library but this does not appear to be an option in FS9.Thanks for any help,Ted

The short answer is, no. You have to boot up with the opening screen...then go to the scenery world library and list scereny additions as you would in fs2002. Then, for that scenery to become part of scnery.cfg, you have to shut down fs2004 and reboot it. Then load your startup scenario and your new scenery will be in place.Sherm

There is a way you can...When in a flight, press esc and end the flight, and you will return to the opening screen from which you can adjust the settings. Regardless, a restart of FS9 will be required for those settings to "take"...-John

John; Thanks. I should have thought of that. Sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees.I appreciate your effort.Ted
