nav radio stdby switch

there appears to be no info available in the "search" about the functioning of this switch. The mouse butto click works just fine,but I would prefer to have it on my Saitek Flight stick if possible. I looked in the control/buttons section and found "standby frequency swap" = keyboard button "x"---but this did not change the Nav frequency. Any help will be appreciated.
