Ray....sudden unexpected change.... I deleted the P3d.cfg file and the Shaders file ....the sim fired up with NO overload to my 3090. My PSU is a Corsair 750w.... which has run P3d faithfully ever since I upgraded to the 3090 a year ago.Should I upgrade to a 1000w for safety. Thanks for all your help and advice. Skipd

Ray...no joy.... I checked the time logging on to P3d StartUp against the "Event Times" Got about 15-20 entries in Windows System. Tried reading the description of each....but I'm not techie enough to understand the explanations. In the P3d,cfg....I deleted the STARTUP section including all entries below startup.....I think there were 8-9 entries. Also went ahead and uninstalled May 17 and 18 Win Updates. Restarted P3d with default B58 at my default aifield KEZF.....my RTX 3090 was screaming and the BSOD. I have tried several other downloaded games with no problems....only P3Dv5.4 Skipd

Hi Menno.... Buddy....you are a LIFESAVER !!!!! I opened the link you sent....and it was for X52 Pro HOTAS driver X64_8.0.150. Ran as Admin. in Win 7 Compatability Mode. Gave it a shot.....and it works PERFECTLY Can't thank you enough... Back to flying my Bell Ranger. Skip d

Hi All.... I have had the above controller for several years. Recently I upgraded my System to Win 11. The Drivers in Device Mngr. show 8.0.121. ;I cannot get the Joystick/Throttle/Programming Software to work, where in Win 10 I had NO problems. If anybody has this device working in Win 11....can you PLEASE advise what steps worked for you ?? I'm to the point of despoation not being able to fly my P3Dv5 Choppers !!! Hello All.... I have owned this joystick combo for several years. Just recently I upgraded my system from Win 10 to 11. The Stick/Throttle combo now refuses to be recognized and the SST Software is also gone. I have attempted to upgrade the Drivers from the Logitech/Support site: 64bit 8.0.213,but continue to find on the Device Mangr. that only 64bit 8.0.121 is present,which will NOT work.... I contacted Logitech Support and was advised that these drives would NOT work on Win 11. If anybody has a working X52 Pro on Win 11.....could you PLEASE advise how you got it to worrk...and what Drivers and Software ver. works for you. I'm desperate !!! Thanks Skip d

Hi All.... I purchased Balt-Wash KBWI for P3d back in Apr. 2022. I have never had a problem with it,nor the other KMSY and KMIA products from them. Till now. Suddenly...all my airplanes at ANY gate at KBWI.....are ON FIRE !! At least it appears to be fire...big billowing clouds that appear to be smoke emanating from the fuselage area. I have tried to re-install KBWI (even with my AV off) with no luck. Going to ask for support from LVFR I find it is only available thru their official forum. I have not been able to even'sign-up/register' on their forum....going on a week now waiting for their links to get mailed. TOTALLY FRUSTRATED. Does anybody have any suggestions or been able to 'extinguish' the fires at BWI on their P3dv5.4 ??

Once again....thanks for the input. I'm going to give Zylx's advice a try and download 1 .rar file at-a time....then try to extract it. Plus I'm going to use a free download tool to help. Hope this works ...!!!! I'll let you know....maybe it'll help somebody else tha's got the same problem.

Opened Winrar to Extract the files, and was hit with ERROR: 0x8096002a I've sent an inquiry to FC Scenery,but haven't heard from them in over a week. Has anybody had this problem before?? Hi All.... Over the past year something has crept into my P3Dv5.4 .cfg file and won't let me start the Sim until it's fixed. I have no problem fixing it,but it's a pain....and I'd like to get rid of it IF possible. In [DISPLAY] an entry 'FullScreen' =True must be changed to FullScreen=False in ordre to get the Sim to work. It reverts back to True when closing the Sim Not a big deal....but pesky !!! Any ideas?? Thanks Skip d

No one in the GSX Support forum has responded to my inquiry.......if anyone here has any knowledge of how this can be resolved...I'd appreciate it I set a custom 'stot parking position' in my GSX+2 But every time I arrive at that spot,my 'stop' position has moved either front or back.... affecting the passenger walkways that I have saved. The poor souls just WALK right into the tail of my airplane. How can I solve this P3Dv5.4/WIN 10 Thanks Skip d

Thanks Ray and Jon...I think?? my monitor is 1080. I copied the 'old.cfg' and then re-built a new one,and am slowly replacing each tweak I had previously,then running the sim to see if a tweak is the culprit. Skip d

I'm really perplexed why the P3D Forum won't let me in. To Log-in (which I know I had registered) ,I thought their answer to my question could be solved....because THEY developed the thing !!! So...I'm hoping to get an answer here....since I know there are a LOT of you guys that know a LOT !! I'm using Win10 and flying P3Dv5.4 Just about every time I sign on to P3D....my P3d.cfg file has automatically changed. Under the first topic[JobScheduler] **Location=-20000,-20000,-18058,-18898,\\.\DISPLAY1 and **LocationFullScreen=-20000,-20000,-18058,-18898,\\.\DISPLAY1....appear This .cfg causes my sim to 'go to black screen' after start-up. After a re-build the NEW .cfg file looks like this **Location=439,115,1481,909,\\.\DISPLAY1 and **LocationFullScreen=0,0,1920,1080,\\.\DISPLAY1 This .cfg works !!! Why does it keep reverting ??? I'ts happening more and more often that my p3dv5.4.cfg is changing itself just about everytime I try to fly. Under the [MAIN] catagory the 'location'=-20000,-20000,-18058,-18898,\\.\DISPLAY1 then a little further down 'location full screen'=-20000,-20000,-18058,-18898,\\.\DISPLAY1 This allows me to open the sim,choose Aircraft/Airport....but when starting progress bar finishes.....all I get is a blank screen.!!! Back about a year ago somebody on this forum suggested changing a few items in the p3dv5.4.cfg to this..... 'location'=439,115,1481,909,\\.\DISPLAY1 and 'loaction full screen'=0,0,1920,1080,\\.\DISPLAY1 This works just fine,until I shut my machine off for the nite. Upon starting the next day.....the p3dv5.4.cfg has reverted to the upper example. Does anyone know what is happening here ??? sure would like to fix it !!!! I think I broke something !!! In the since years of FSX (2006???) til now with P3Dv5.4.....I have NEVER tried to fly a 'chopper. Now that I have a Logitech X52 HOTAS Pro....I'm dying to try. Haven't the faintest idea how to set it up...or what to do when I get there !!! Been looking for at leat a TUTORIAL/HOW TO...with negative results. If any body can get me airborne with the default 'Robinson 22'... I'd really appreciate it. Flying over Dong Ha in a 'Huey' seemed so easy !!! Thanks Skip d

Hi everyone... Just recently I've noticed in my P3Dv5.4 (Win 10) that whenever I switch screens (Spot view-Airport view;Airport view-FMC view; etc,etc) that I must use the mouse left-click to allow the next view to appear. Needless to say...this becomes tedious !! I'm sure I've neglected to do something important...but I can't figure what it is... Any help will be appreciated.Thanks Skip d

I have searched this forum and google without getting any answer about this subject. I'm not sure if I was using FSX or P3d years ago....when I was able to apply the Altitude hold...activate the A/P Master and still make turns left or right using the Logitech Flight Yoke....while maintaining the designated altitude.
