Re: X52Pro flight controller w/rudders

Featured Replies

HiI've had my X52Pro/rudders for a few years now and I enjoy using it.Up until a few days ago, I was able to turn the nose wheel on most aircraft using just the joy stick. I've lost that alibity for some unknown reason. Rudders work fine, but I did enjoy using the joy stick more because to me it made for better turning. For anybody who has the X52Pro w/rudders and has had this issue or who knows what may have caused it, please let me know.If it is something within the FSX config file, please pass that on. Also in regards the multifuntion display...I've lost that as well unless I run the SaiFlightSimX.exe and the SimConnect.msi after starting FSX. Used to be, it was there when after I started FSX.My system is Vista 64bit and the most current drivers that I know of for the X52Pro are already installed.I did do a un-install and re-install already and have donethe calibration. Thanks to all who read this.

If you look at the controller properties, does the z-rotation indicator move when you twist the grip? If not, it is a hardware problem.Yes, it does move when I twist the grip
Yes, it does move when I twist the grip
Look under "settings" (from the FSX start screen), go to the "control axes" tab and select "Saitek X52 Pro Flight Controller" from the drop-down list.Under "flight mode", select "Normal". In the assignments list, scroll down to "Rudder axis" and verify that "Z Rotation" is shown next to "Rudder axis". If not, highlight it, select "change assignment" and twist the joystick grip so you see "Z Rotation". Hit "OK" and you should be good.
