August 6, 200322 yr I am having difficulty getting the FS2004 King Air to start from the Virtual Cockpit (VC).I can not seem to get the starter switches to stay on long enough for the engines to start (they reset back to off).If I do the same thing in the 2D cockpit everything works OK but in the VC it is a non starter.Does anyone know a way to get the starter switches to stay on in the VC? I would hate to have to use the Ctrl-E to start up in the VC :-(Barry
August 6, 200322 yr Wasn't this a problem in FS2002 also? The solution is to rapidly click the mouse button repeatedly on the switches, effectively holding them engaged.
August 6, 200322 yr Or use the mouse wheel to hold them in position? [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
August 6, 200322 yr Many thanks, the trick with the mouse wheel worked (did not realise the mouse wheel worked on toggle switches :( ).The other thing I tried that worked was to assign a keyboard key to the starter buttons :-)Barry
