Simconnect W7 server Vista client

Featured Replies

I am using ASA. After installing FSX on the server (ASA is installed on the client for a couple of years now) I thought I installed correctly simconnect.cfg, simconnect.xml and simconnect.ini. And of course creating the paths between the 2 machines libraries.I cannot succeed to establish a dialog between FSX and ASA.Then I read in the SDK manual that I needed to execute Simconnect.msi on the client machine. (It must have been done years ago !!) But O.K. I want to execute the module as mentioned in the SDK instructions. I copied the SDK library to the client. Then I execute the module. Then I get the following message: A network error occured while attempting top read from the file C:/.../.../... .../Simconnect_SP1a.msiI don't understand what is happening. Can somebody give me a clue ?
