August 6, 200322 yr I have read it somewhere that FS2004 has a dark sky at night with virtually no Horizon. Is this true? because the other night I flew at FL370 at around mid-night and the sky was lit with half moon and plenty of stars. Please confirm or let me know what I'm doing wrong thanks.
August 6, 200322 yr Try selecting a date when there is no moon and get up to about 50K feet and see what happens. A half moon will reflect quite a bit of light.RegardsBill
August 6, 200322 yr Author I myself have taken an X-15 up to 100,000 feet in FS9, and yes there is a horizon, and yes it does get darker as you get higher, here are some pics I took of it. http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...&topic_id=70369
