Saitek USB Throttle Quadrant Mixture Lever and cutoff

Featured Replies

I have two quadrants, with the USB quadrant mapped to engine 2 prop, engine 1 mixture, engine 2 mixture. The prop works fine, but won't feather even though the detent button is mapped to "propeller feather"Neither mixture lever works, despite being mapped to the mixture axis.Neither mixture lever idle cutoff detent button functions despite being mapped to "idle cutoff"Needless to say, not being able to feather a prop in a multiengine a/c results in disaster every time.Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks alot.

Use FSUIPC. Stay away from any Saitek delivered drivers.

How do you disable the Saitek Throttle Quadrant Drivers so that FSUIPC doesn't fight for control?

You should be able to remove the tq in your hardware manager. Use Driver Sweeper afterwards. Restart, re-plug, and let Wndows recognize the tq. Let FSUIPC do the rest.

Hmmmm, thanks! I'll try that. I have FSUIPC 4.When I read the FSUIPC manual, it says to uncheck "use controller" in fsx/settings/controls. When I do that FSUIPC does not get data to calibrate. FSUIPC only gets data when I check "use controller".After two weeks trying to configure this thing, I have concluded that this is way more difficult than it should be.This is more difficult than flying a real airplane sometimes! Thanks for the info!

Odd issue. But I'm sure there's an explaination. Sign up at FSUIPC-forum, and I'm sure Pete will find a solution. Once you get the crackdown on FSUIPC you'll never want to do without.

Likewise :)oh, and while you're over there look for FSUIPC tutorial by SimSamurai, you can also search this forum for a link, I posted on it a while ago, if I remember correctly.
