Shader Issue?

Featured Replies

Hello,Firstly, I apologize if this is the wrong forum.I installed some new shaders I found here off AVSIM. I made a backup of my old ones just in case, and when I launched FSX I got this:gfxo.pngI figured it was something wrong with the shaders, so I reverted back to the old ones only to find that the problem still exsisted. Any ideas?Regards,Andrew

When you change shaders, such as with the shader3.0 mod, you have to add the SHADER_CACHE_VERSION=1 line, and you have to change the number everytime you change shaders to make FSX recompile them. Go ahead and reinstall the shader 3.0 line and add the line I stated, plus ALLOW_SHADER_30=1 to the [GRAPHICS] section of your fsx.cfg. Problem solved.
