That cursed Airspeed Indicator!

Featured Replies

Nope, still can't get any sign of life out of the airspeed indicator, no matter what I try. I've done complete fresh re-installs of both FSUIPC (registered v3.96) and the Tinmouse II (v.1.26) but still it doesn't work. Any other suggestions...? please...? anyone...? :( Also, the flaps don't work with either joystick or keyboard buttons. I have to click on the flaps gauge with the mouse to operate them - most annoying!

What power source do you have connected to the main busses? How are you setting up the joystick buttons for the flaps?Confirm that you don't have multiple copies of the FSUIPC.dll, even renamed ones, in your FS9 modules folder. These problems suggest you still have something wrong with your FSUIPC setup.RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO

Yep, the problem was indeed FSUIPC related. No idea why it should make a difference but I re-installed FSUIPC (yet again) but didn't drop the key file back in so it ran as an unregistered copy. The airspeed indicator worked fine! Dropped the keyfile back in where it belongs and everything now works as it should with my registered copy of FSUIPC. No idea what caused the original problem but all ok now :( Still haven't sorted out the issue with the flaps yet though. I am using the default joystick buttons that work with all my other aircraft but they don't work with the Tinmouse. It's the same if I try using the standard keyboard commands too - the flaps start to move, according to the gauge, but then return to their original position.

The flap issue is all explained in the docs. Easiest way to make it work with joystick buttons is to set the buttons up (aircraft-specific) to set/reset an FSUIPC offset value, as described in the docs.RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO
