FSX is DX9 software i.e. uses features that became available in DX9 but following versions are back-compatible. I wouldn't uninstall DX11.I suspect the scenery folder needs to be in a permanent location but TP caches can be anywhere so you should be able to place the jpgs on a flash drive if you want -- I have them scattered across several different partitions. They aren't hard coded by the installation; they only "function" as a cache when referenced in the proxyuser.ini.[COL_ms]#--------------------------------cache_folder=D:\cacheMED#cache_folder=I:\cacheSW#cache_folder=I:\cacheNPLoyd Hooked since FS4... now flying: FSX Acceleration on Win7/64, Core Duo E8400; GA-EP45-DS3R; GTX 460-768MB; 4G RAM; Freezer 7 Pro
