May 26, 201016 yr I have been using ASE for a few months now and just want to know if this normal, if I shut down ASE on my (I use it across a network)Client PC my FSX will freeze and lock up.
May 26, 201016 yr Does the following from the ASE instructions apply here?Note: When virtual station generation is enabled (on by default), it can take FSX some time to remove and reinitialize the station database after ASE quits. FSX may appear "frozen" during this time. ASE will remind you about this if you attempt to quit while FSX is running. We therefore recommend that FSX is actually closed first, before ASE, in order to avoid any delays (this does not apply when virtual station generation features are disabled and only applies to FSX) Art
May 26, 201016 yr Hi Ian,Art is right. Is it a total freeze or is it just the removal of the stations?
May 27, 201016 yr Author Thanks Art and Jim, sorry never new about this, I don't really know if its a total lockup, never really waited to find out :( I just noticed it happened a few times, no big deal, I just thought I might have set up simconnect wrong.PSI have never noticed any warnings, I have the green message bar thing turned off and never really noticed anything on the ASE GUI, of course I haven't been looking either
