Weather update after crash

Featured Replies

Hi,I've been flying the BN Islander into St. Barths and so I've been crashing regularly!! I've noticed that after each crash, the weather returns to pre ASE settings (clear sky, 50 miles vis as set in my FSX default flight). ASE does detect the crash and resets itself by redownloading weather and starting the synthesis etc, but the weather never changes in FSX. I have to restart ASE to get the correct weather again.I'm running ASE on a seperate PC. Any ideas whats going wrong?ThxSteve

Hi,It's that SimConnect bug that causes this break in communication just as closing FSX and restarting that. The crash programming must send a clear weather command or reset. Turning off Crash Detection might help, but I know not very realistic.
