  1. Hi CaptKornDog, Yes you need the tool for 777 support. The older versions are no longer supported. GoFlight have done some videos regarding The GoFlight Interface Tool (GIT) and the NGX - the principles are the same for the 777. You can see them here: http://goflightinc.com/pmdg-goflight-config-tutorial-video-1/ Full documentation is here: http://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/user-guide-git.html Avsim's very own Rob Ainscough has also done a video on GIT here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5M2YrVHU2ew Best wishes Steve PollyPot Software
  2. If you drop the account name details to me via the Contact form on the website, I can make some changes - not sure what happened there though. The forum account is different to your shop account, so you can register for that on the forum itself. Its best we get this sorted in readiness for PMDG 747 v2 support as the old versions will not work it and the newer version is much easier to use e.g. to import aircraft configs. There is also no support for the older versions. Best wishes Steve
  3. You need to post on the support forum to get this resolved - http://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/forum.html#/discussions. There are currently no reported bugs so waiting for updates is not going to help you. Post the problem, FS Version, error log, LED status, any error messages and what aircraft you are using that causes the problem and I will work with you to get this working OK. Best wishes Steve
  4. The software on GoFlight's site are GoFlight's own hardware drivers. The GoFlight Interface Tool is something completely different. Best wishes Steve
  5. Hi Manny, Yes it became payware several months ago when the X-Plane version was released. If you have previously donated you can claim your donation against the price of the product via a voucher code - see http://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/voucher-codes.html Best wishes Steve
  6. Yes. The product is continually updated at no further cost. Best wishes Steve
  7. I will be adding 747 support to the GoFlight Interface Tool. Best wishes Steve
  8. Hi David, Not yet. Joystick support is on my to-do list. Unfortunately X-Plane handles axes very differently than FSX so a straight port from the FSX version of the Goflight Interface Tool wasn't possible. Best wishes Steve
  9. Hi David, The manual is online here: http://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/goflight-interface-tool-x-plane.html You may also find Rob's video tutorials useful, although they are for the FSX/Prepar3D version: http://www.avsim.com/topic/491175-not-so-quick-goflight-interface-tool-tutorial-part-i-of-iii/?hl=%2Bgoflight#entry3447352 Remember, if you need help please post at the forum on pollypotsoftware.org.uk. Best wishes Steve
  10. Hi Paul, I answered this for Shane over at my forum: http://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/forum.html#/discussion/362/gf-t8-programing-lights The post refers to the T8, but it applies to any Windows 8/10 GoFlight devices with non-working displays/LED's . Best wishes Steve
  11. This suggest that if its available the Lvar that represents the position of the Speed Wheel needs to be updated in GIT also.
  12. Hi Bob, You don't import the Majestic software, its a tool for determining the commands you will need to create Bespoke Events in Detective. There are two HOW TO GUIDES near the very top of my forum for the Dash. One is about setting the LED's and the other about building Bespoke Events (these you can assign to switches and buttons to do stuff). I suggest joining my forum as there is a chap called Slayer on there who is very knowledgeable on using the GoFlight Interface Tool with the Dash. Best wishes Steve
  13. Hi Bob, You can use my software, the GoFlight Interface Tool. There are some forum posts at my website about using the Q400 with it. You can get the software and access the forum here: http://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk Best wishes Steve
  14. Hi Terry, It just fixes an issue where run as administrator was not working on some systems, nothing else has changed. Best wishes Steve
  15. Check you have configured your modules on the P3D tab of GFConfig. Thx Steve
  16. Yes. If that works I will PM you a link to some updated beta drivers that will hopefully fix the admin privileges issue. Thx Steve
  17. Have you tried running GFDevP3D manually?
  18. Yes 2.26 is the latest version. The installer elevates P3D and GFDevP3D to run as administrator - this is required for iFly 747 support. It needs a reboot after installation to work correctly and the installer prompts the user to do this. If P3D is not run as administrator then GFDevP3D won't load and this is the cause of people having the issues. However all these requirements will be set automatically using the new drivers after rebooting. If you have any issues using the new drivers with version 3 of P3D, please contact John at GoFlight. Best wishes Steve
  19. GoFlight Drivers with P3D version 3 compatibility now available on GoFlights support page. Best wishes Steve
  20. Hey Manny, I have just released a new version of the GoFlight Interface Tool that works with Prepar3D version 3. Best wishes Steve
  21. They already are Windows 10 compatible - I have been using the drivers with Windows 10 for months.
  22. GoFlight will be releasing a new version of their drivers with version 3 compatibility next week. Best wishes Steve
  23. Do you really think John would be open to this? I would love to continue developing RC4!
  24. It may be worth checking this: Open regedit Go to the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers Delete the key "C:\\Games\\FSX\\fsx.exe"="$~ RUNASADMIN IgnoreFreeLibrary<PMDGOptions.dll>" obviously changing the underlined text to be your flight sim version and its location. Best wishes Steve
  25. How to program: http://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/user-guide-git/19-operating/21-configuring-goflight-devices.html If nothing shows up, then the developer of the aircraft has not exposed any lvars or events for that control so nothing can be programmed to interface to it. Your last resort would be a Mouse Click event if one exists for it. Best wishes Steve
