CH Pro Pedals - Is this normal?

Recommended Posts

Guest Jack172

I read the CH tips posted, thanks they got me all but setup.I have a quick question...I notice with the Pro Pedals in the config screen my Z axis (rudder) values constantly change when idle, from appx 121 -130.Is that much normal? I'm getting a constant pull to the left when flying or on the taxi way, and wondered if that could be the issue. When I remove the pedals, all is fine.

That sounds like 'noise'. I suggest you create a centre null zone to include those values so that actual rudder operation does not occur until the value goes beyond those limits. If you have the full version of FSUIPC you can do that from the joysticks section, if not I think you can do it from CH Manager (don't use it myself), failing that tryhttp://home.att.net/~stickworks/Ther may be something there that will help.Rgds

Do you have a stick in tandem with twist grip enabled? If so, you could try disabling that function. You may have a conflict.Personally, I have avoided using FSUIPC to calibrate my gear; the combination of CH Manager and FS itself gives everything I need, and every time I have tried to "refine" settings using FSUIPC things have gone bananas. When I "reset" everything in FSUIPC, all works well.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg
