Saving FS Build

Featured Replies

I want to save FS Build Fight Plans from my Client PC to my FSX Server PC. I point FS Build to the right files across my network but it never saves FSX.xml flight plan no matter what I do. I have done everthing right and my network is good too. I am running FS BUILD ASE ect on a laptop then I'm running FSX on my Sever and Radar Contact is my server so I need the file to be able to go over to the computer. All the files that need to be shared are set up and my network is running good too. I'm all out of ideas.Ron Hamilton

Sometimes there are issues with network paths. Try mapping the remote PC to a drive letter, the export to that drive letter.Regards.Ernie.

Hey thanks for the help. I didnt even realize you answered my question on here anyways. RC4 is on on FSX PC (Server) and FS Build is on my Client PC. I know how to Map a drive but what folder should I select....does FS Build need to know where my FSX Install folder is on my Server, or does it just need a place to put the Exported file? I'm so confused. Thanks for the help though.Ron Hamilton

Hey Ron, I don't use FSBuild networked but I would guess it needs the folder that your flight plans are stored in... That is usually not in the FS folder but somewhere in my documents or something like that... Also not sure if the location moved with FSX... On my box it is: My Documents\Flight Simulator Files or (Drive Letter)\Documents and Settings\(your PC user name)\My Documents\Flight Simulator Files-Paul
