I have been reading the forums and looks like a lot of gamers have the same problem, I dont know a lot about computer workings, but it seems to me that if a lot of people have the same problem, seems it might be an add-on, so I was thinking if I deleted one add-on at a time run the game and see if that particular one is the problem, until you have no more add- ons at least, I would know its not my add- ons , if nothing reinstall. My particular crash starts when I program the CDU , and use lateral navigation I wounder if ACCELERATION might have something to do with it? I tried one idea and I lost all my control settings, had to re-program.

Excuse me for my computer ignorance...CDU=Computer Display Unit? I've never heard of a CDU but that's what Google says CDU means. Have you checked your Event Viewer to see if any error message is displayed for the CTD? Sometimes that error message will provide more details to help pinpoint the exact problem and maybe even reference the guilty addon. Just look for the date and time of the crash in the event viewer. If the CDU is some type of controller and you are trying to program your controller it (the programming) might be conflicting with FSX keyboard and controller assignments. By now you must have resolved the issue but I would be interested in what you did to fix it (and also find out what a CDU is).Best regards,Jim
