compared to default aircraft

Featured Replies

I just did tutorial flight for radar contact with default 737, compared to JS41 it's useless :). I got spoiled by PMDG. My usual score in FSFK is around 90% with JS41, with that pathetic 737 it was 2.5% :). it managed to stall on AP when I pressed approach. I've not flown default anything in a long time so that was shock to me how these things fly (mainly AP). So thanks PMDG for this great bird. Never again anyting which came with FSX (well maybe some GA).G. Furmanski

PMDG comparison against default = There is no comparison...

Stalling on autopilot is perfectly possible, it doesn't necessarily mean a simulated aircraft is bad. The autopilot only does what you tell it to do via your inputs; so if you tell it to try and fly an automated approach at a speed that is not sufficient for it to maintain the glideslope, it will stall whilst attempting to do so, just the same as if you set it up to fly at 5,000 feet with a 10,000 foot mountain in front of you; it'll crash, but that won't be because there's anything wrong with the aircraft.Al
