June 17, 201015 yr Hey Fella's I was thinking about buying the Weather Radar from RXP for my JS4100. I wanted to know if it easy to put it into JS41's VC. I'm not very good with coding and editing hmtl etc...never done it in FSX before. I just wanted to know if it easy to install it or what not. I looked into the JS4100 Manual and didn't see anything about how to install the RXP WX Radar so that is why I am asking here. As always truly do appreciate the help. ThanksRon Hamilton
June 17, 201015 yr Just install it on your computer and do nothing. The panel is already ready and configured for it, so you don't have to do anything at all.
June 18, 201015 yr The radar will be installed in J41 by the RXP installer. Nice and easy...However in the J41 cockpit you wont be able to use the real buttons on the radar console. Instead move the mouse cursor over the radar screen and you'll see green spots showing the locations of the contols. There will be no tooltips. I have to find out what is what for your self - pretty much sraight forward... The round spot on the bottom-left is off/standby/test/onEnjoy... Regards, Martin Martinov / VATSIM 1207931

June 18, 201015 yr Yes...The procedures in FS2CREW include the use of the RXP 500 (if you have it).The F/O is turning it on/off depending on the flight situation (following his checklist).The middle click spot fro FS2CREW does not interfere with the clickspots for the radar at all...Bryan has done a great job with the FS2CREW and now I am every day on board the J41Cheers, Regards, Martin Martinov / VATSIM 1207931
