Lights/Effects Files

Featured Replies

I'm specifically looking for a description of the various lights effects files that (AI) aircraft use. For example, there are fx_navred, fx_navredc, fx_navredh, fx_navredm .fx files. What do the c, h, and m stand for. Same for the other default light files, I'm curious. Why do you ask? Well, just downloaded an AI aircraft that came with a Shockwave only light section... Wanna change them to default, but not sure which ones to pick.:(I've already checked the container and effects SDK's.

Hi Mike. Tell me what AI aircraft it is that you need the lights section for and I will help you match it up with the appropriate effects.Regards,Mel

It helps a bit, still would like to know what the difference is between all the variations though.Or suppose I could just get the shockwave lights... They have a sale of 25% off this weekend. Of course, that means updating my entire AI fleet...:(
