Trees in FS04

Recommended Posts

I noticed that the trees in FS04 look pretty much all the same. This is OK for most scenery but I couldn't believe that in Orlando or any Florida/tropical area they left out palm trees. I thought I read somewhere that there was a program to add realistic trees according to latitude to FS02. Does anyone know if its true and will it work in FS04? Thanks.;-)

There might be some discrepancies with the landclass in Orlando, but in my few flights so far in FS2004 the trees have been varied and generally appropriate for the area in question. I've attached a screenie of three examples from North Carolina, Alaska and the Bahamas. Looks like they're pretty different to me!

I've got plenty of palms in West Palm Beach- I suggest you get the Florida Landclass files off the Avsim library- they're fantastic. Joel
