June 26, 201015 yr Hi there, I'm not sure whether my problem has already been discussed here but i didn't find anything through the forum search. So what's the deal? I have both Ultimate Terrain X and Ground Environment X installed and I'm running FSX Acceleration on a Win 7 64x machine. I installed TP and it sure is working, which means at least it downloads tiles (noticable through the status window) and saves them into my cache folder (= I can see and open the jpgs), BUT I still see the default Ground Textures including autogen delivered by GEX while flying. I already tried to disable UTX through the scenery library with no success. So i guess it's a conflict with either GEX or UTX, but otherwise I read some posts stating that users were running TP and GEX/UTX with no problems. Is there any known problem related to TP with GEX and UTX installed? I would like to keep both UTX and GEX installed because I use to fly airliners also and if so the GEX textures are the better choice. ps: sorry if there are any misunderstandings, it took me half an hour to write this :(
June 28, 201015 yr When you installed TP did it say anything about a driver not being digitally signed?Check this thread to see if your problem is related: http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=287156The user in that thread solved the missing TP-scenery by using some program that enforced installation of digitally unsigned drivers (which obviously may not be something you want to do if you can avoid it)Before doing that TP appeared to work normally but just didn't show any scenery in FSX, which sounds just like what you have, so maybe you can solve it the same way as he did :)

June 28, 201015 yr Author Ok, I tried the little tool mentioned in the thread above and it's not working for me, but to be honest I don't like the fact that a third-party program is changing my o/s config anyway. But, I just reinstalled TP completely and checked how the entries are organized in the scenery library. I saw that the LOD 8 was not directly under the other TP entries, so I moved it to the (in my opinion) proper position, right underneath the others. And well, I don't know what to say - it works, and the textures are showing up correctly in the region I tested until now. I really don't know if it's because I changed the priority in the library!? The only thing left to say is that the first circle in the TP status monitor is empty all the time and I don't know if it's supposed to do so. Anyway, I'm glad there's no reason to be frustrated anymore. ^^Thanks for your help!mfg (sincerly)Eric
