Featured Replies

I use FSINN.Today an ATC said my flightplan was set to text-messages only. I looked in FSINN flight plan but i coudnt see anywhere to set this. I use voice so i want to enable that in my FP.

Put "/V" in the remarks section of the FLight plan.

Jesper, look at the flightplan sheet once again. You should have to see like theese;-only text message --> means you are not able to use voice communication -receive and transmitt voice --->means you are able to use voice communication-receive only --> means you can listen but nat able to transmitt.when you select "only text", system adds "t" suffix on your radar ident tag and flightplan which is seen by controller screenwhen you select "receive and transmitt"", system nothing adds suffix on your radar ident tag but add /V/ on your flightplan which is seen by controller screenwhen you select "receive only", system adds "r" suffix on your radar ident tag and flightplan which is seen by controller screen

I have been looking for an official VATSIM document which tells you to use /T/ for text only, /V/ for voice etc.  I have found a number of references in various unofficial sources, but nothing from VATSIM itself.  I'm sure there must be something in writing, so can anyone point me to it?

Also, while I'm on. It is a custom of mine to simply put "VFR" as my route when flying out and back type VFR sorties. (For circuits, I put circuits, for land aways i put at least a couple of waypoints.)  Is this acceptable?  Again, I can find no official reference to it.
