June 29, 201015 yr Ill be doing my RPP flight test this saturday and i was just wondering from anyone whos done a flight test if i would fail if i dont get the weight and balance stuff right. I dont understand it very well and i just want to know if i would fail the test because of that.
June 29, 201015 yr You very well could, as that's part of the practical test standard's requirements! When I took my private practical test I had to work a simple weight and balance problem.I suggest more ground sessions with the instructor(s)... On the other hand, the DP Examiner may look over a PRE-calculated w/b and accept that, no questions asked. It also depends on the DPE and rather he/she is in a good mood or not.Give the DPE a call and ask if he minds telling you his weight and rather or not he's bringing bags. That will send the message that you're serious about the test. (Also use that data and work the problem several times since you have issues with it!) ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
