July 1, 201015 yr I am having trouble getting a working smoke system transfered from plane to plane. I have a working smoke system entry in the CFG but it still won't show up. I've noticed some .AIR files actually list Smoke System= True (1). I've tried copying that to the other AIR file as well but it still won't work.Any thoughts? Thanks~Josh
July 1, 201015 yr Probably need to add something like this to the config file (this is from the Extra aerobatic aircraft in FSX):[sMOKESYSTEM]smoke.0=-10.00, -0.70, 0.0, fx_smoke_wThe figures (which I have put in bold) refer to where the smoke effect shows up on the aircraft, which depending on what type of aircraft it is, you might have to adjust. To do that, make a small change to one value and see how it moves the location of the smoke effect in the sim. The values relate to height, distance along the fuselage, and left or right of centre. Notice that you can add minus values. And then of course have to turn it on in the sim (with the 'I' key if I recall correctly, although check that, as I could be wrong).Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
