July 6, 201015 yr Hey,As I am contemplating to switch over I would like to ask some X-Plane users who fly on IVAO about the stability of the X-ivap software on Windows XP. I checked the IVAO forums and I have seen a lot of complaints about gradual framerate lss, etc. but most of them were from Linix and Mac users. Is there someone who flys X-Plane on IVAO regularly on a Windows platform? If yes then how is it? what are the main compromises one gotta make? Thanks,Alex
July 6, 201015 yr Hi Alex !I'm using X-Plane with X-IvAp on a Linux platform and it works fine. No framerate loss. But if you switch from FS to X-Plane, there's one thing you will miss: IVAO's MTL. I don't know if you remember the CSL we had with Squawkbox and FS2002 or previous FS versions to display multiplayer aircraft ? This is how the traffic looks on the X-IvAp CSL. I hope this will change in the future.Happy flying. Georges - OpenStreetMap - Ubuntu GNU/Linux -
