July 8, 201015 yr Hi, I have used TP before, but I recently installed AVG (premium, free trial), and I cant get TP to work. I have tried to add userproxy to the avg firewall exception list, but it still doesnt work. July 8, 201015 yr Author Hmm how do I disable AVG? Even when disableing the AVG firewall, TP isnt working. Let me describe what happens: The TP dos window starts normally (as admin), and it says ready for takeoff. I start FSX. Then 3-6 dots fill in in the TP dos window, and it just stops. Completely dead. I cant even close the dos window, and I cant terminate the process with CTRL ALT DEL. Only thing that makes it go away is restarting the machine. July 9, 201015 yr Open up AVG. top right corner double click "Resident shield". bottom left corner " Resident shield active " disable save changes. now start TP. :( :(
