July 10, 201015 yr Hey guys I had merged ma overland/sms Boeing 777-300ER with PSS 777 cockpit & every thing is going good. But the problem is that after I fill the FMC information's & after I takeoff & engage the auto pilot , the speed of da aircraft is increased to more than 540 knots although that I expedited it in the FMC to be for example 250 knots below FL100 & 310 knots on FL330The video link below shows the problem, notice how the speed increases abnormally in the Primary Flight Director (PDF) after takeoff & after engaging da auto pilot , also u will hear over speed sound http://www.zshare.net/video/7811839376d1520e/ So please help me to overcome this problem thnx
July 10, 201015 yr Have you used the PSS air file? How'd you get the autothrottle to work on the ground???
July 10, 201015 yr well what do u mean by the PSS air file? do u mean aircraft.cfg or pss aircraft folder ? well i let the autothrottle work on ground by pressing in the TO/GA button with mouse right click u can see the vidoe again & u will notice that thnx 4 ur replying
July 10, 201015 yr The air file is pretty much the guts of the aircraft. Look for a file called PSSB777LR-GE in your PSS 772 folder.Looks like you're using the SMS.air file.No way you should be climbing at 6000fpm and still gaining speed.Use the PSS air and edit your contact points. July 11, 201015 yr The air file is pretty much the guts of the aircraft. Look for a file called PSSB777LR-GE in your PSS 772 folder. Is the air file really the guts of the aircraft? Or is the aircraft.cfg? Doesn't aircraft.cfg over rule the air file? Check out my thread:http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=288738&hl
July 11, 201015 yr Alright perhaps wrong wording. More like the appendix. It's there but nobody know it's purpose. Clarke Kruger - CYEG

July 12, 201015 yr Hehe, no worries there. Anyways, just put the PSS air file into the merge folder as Geddy has said and in the "sim=" in [flightsim] section put the name of the air file.
