Hi,I've just reinstalled FSX after upgrading my graphics card from an 8800 gts to a GTX470 1280mb. When I start FSX all is well, the User interface displays normally but as soon as I try to load a flight I get a blue screen and a system restart. The info reported after the restart is as follows...BCCode : 1000008e BCP1 : C0000005 BCP2 : BD09A966 BCP3 : B31EB908BCP4 : 00000000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 256_1 C:\DOCUME~1\Mark\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER0380.dir00\Mini071010-06.dmpC:\DOCUME~1\Mark\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER0380.dir00\sysdata.xml FSX is installed with SP2 and no addons.FS9 by the way works perfectly. Can anyone help?SYSTEM SPECSGigabyte S series motherboardAMD Athlon 64 X 2 Dual Core Processor 5200+ 2.61 ghz2 gb DDR2 RAMNVIDIA GTX470 1280 mb Windows XP ProfessionalSoundblaster Live

According to your error codes, it's a hardware incompatibility and, since you recently installed a new graphics card, I suspect the display drivers need to be uninstalled/reinstalled again. You might also check with the manufacturer of your MB and see if there's an update to the BIOS. FS9 should run perfectly as it takes less memory to run than FSX. No fair comparison. Are you running the 64 bit version of XP or the 32 bit? Your chipset can handle the 64 bit. If the latter, you should make sure you have the /3GB switch enabled. FS9 doesn't need this switch. Is there a reason why you haven't upgraded XP to SP3? Error code indicates you have SP2 installed.Best regards,Jim
