Razgriz Typhoon....

Featured Replies

HiI am looking for a re-painter willing to do me a favour.I am wondering if anyone who can paint is willing to create me a livery for the Alphasim typhoon (the payware one, not the one released as freeware) in Razgriz colours...Paintkit is on their website i think, if not i might have it when i purchased the aircraft. Logos and pictures of the Razgriz typhoon are available all over the web. Its not a tricky repaint by the looks of it (but what do i know i cant paint lol) its just large amount of Black with a red tip on the tail.http://media.photobucket.com/image/r...-typhoon-1.pngThe repaint is the same on all their aircrafthttp://fc05.deviantart.net/fs42/f/20..._BoggeyDan.pnghttp://matteomazzali.files.wordpress...ombat-6-20.jpgAny response would be appreciatedRegardsLiam

Yup, if you know where I could download a repaint for it, then that could indeed be used, however, since it wouldn't be a layered file, it might involve a bit of work.Al

Well, I downloaded a repaint of the Alphasim Eurofighter from flightsim.com, and to be honest, I don't think it would be easy to repaint it, since I don't have the original aircraft and it appears to have been constructed and textured in a rather convoluted fashion. With no actual model to view what has been repainted, and with so many individual textures going into making the paint scheme, doing it 'blind' would be bound to lead to a mistake which there would be no way of checking without actually being able to load up a model into the sim to verify that everything is aligned properly.Ordinarily, with a paint kit that is easy to do, even if you don't have the aircraft model itself, since everything is positioned in an obvious fashion, but when it is not like that, then you really do need the model in order to check that things are working properly. I know that's not what you want to hear, but that is unfortunately the case, so unless you can turn up a paint kit, or find someone who has the aircraft who is willing to repaint it, then the only other option is to have a crack at repainting it yourself, since you do have the model and would be able to verify that the textures are all aligned properly. If you want to have a go at that, I did actually do a very simple tutorial on how to go about it, which can be read here: http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?autocom...&article=23That's not a complete guide to how to go about everything you would ever want to do with repainting, but it it is easy enough for someone who has never had a go at it before, and it does provide a stepping stone for greater things, in addition to being based on how to do it without a paint kit.Al
