1603 FATAL ERROR?

Recommended Posts

Guest NWAForever78

I installed FSX (Original) but i couldnt find the icon to start it, so i tried uninstalling it, and got a 1603 Fatal Error. Alot of FSX users have got this while trying to install FSX (Original) or uninstall it.

More details needed. What exact FS is it? Sp1, Sp2?Acceleration? What is the first thing which appeared saying an error? Is it a reinstall? Is it a legal disc?If there is no icon, you can start it by finding it in All Programs, Games/ FSX in the Start Menu.Click on that. What kind of PC. Ram? Video card? Peter Sydney Australia

If you are using Windows 7 or Vista try turning the UAC (User Access Control) off.
