About ASE and RC

FSX and FS9 users should read page 40 of the ASE User Manual about the affects of using Global Mode. This for FSX is forced on when using DWC.In global mode weather is only updated every ten minutes according to the weather at your aircraft position worldwide. This will cause erroneous FSX and FS 9 ATIS reports as stated in the manual and by derivation incorrect AI patterns in many cases. The manual states only Flightwatch (122.8) can give the correct weather in global mode. RC reports FS weather and in global mode RC ATIS can be incorrect as well as Approach runway assignments due to incorrect AI patterns and wweather changes as you approach.Check in the ASE manual pages 27, 37, 39, and 40 about turning off global mode options in each tab for options regarding the various weather tabs and setting weather effects in ranges of nautical miles.
