Wilco Airbus A320 - descent question.

Featured Replies

Following the tutorial guidelines from the manual, I've created a short flight from Heathrow to Schiphol. It says that when the Top of Descent point has been reached, dial up a lower altitude in the autopilot panel and then push (left-click) the altitude button to take the plane into Managed descent mode (white 'dot' should disappear).I have turned the dial to read 3000 feet and tried left-clicking (and right-clicking!!) but the mode will not change - the white dot remains and the plane will not descend.....What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help!Toni.

prior to arriving at TOD set the altitude.left-mouse-click the altitude button.the MCDU/FMS will command descent.information available by searching the old support forum (YEARS of information) -http://iemit.com/forum(only open for searches, not open to new posts)current support -http://forum.iemit.com(search in the 'developed by feelThere' sub-forum)--
