Is there a connection between Love.San.Worm and memory leak???

Featured Replies

...leak??? Here and on the other sites are more and more reports, that either when using FS2002 or 2004 systems run out of memory! This happened to myself also a couple of days ago!. Suddenly after an only one hour flight an error message appeared on the screen "Error! Your system has run out of memory! The system will shut down!"I run a P4 2.4 Ghz, 512 DDR, GF3Ti200 64 MB Win XP Pro. Inever had this problem before, not even with my old sys (PIII 800 Mhz, 512 SDRAM, WIN ME).All this happened in the first sim session after this W32.Lovesan.Worm was detected on my system, isolated and the MS-Patch was downloaded.I posted this on the other site and one simmer rplied, that on the same day he got exactly the same error message and also for the first time. As I never had problems with not enough memory before, I now suspect, that this is either in connection with the virus/Worm or with the patch I have downloaded from MS. When I now check the virtual memory with the task manager during using the sim, I can watch it quickly and constantly rising. Something, which was not the case earlier. My question to the gurus is "Can there be a connection between memory leak and thatLove.San.Worm?!"Wolfgang
