Aircraft Configuration Settings

Development team:If I recall correctly, our old, trusty 737 (that I have sadly not flown in ages because I'm now fully FSX - can't wait for the NGX) had a function where you could select an airline, it would populate the appropriate options, and then you could load up and head out. This function was lost somewhere between then and now. I'm guessing that it's partially due to the amount of time necessary for the devs to research all of the options and compile them into a settings list. Instead, would it be possible to create a function in the options panel to allow us to save a setting as an entry we could recall later? Right now, I'm having to go in and edit the options individually. If I could save the options and recall it later by the saved list, it would save a lot of time and add to the experience. If this could somehow be tagged to the aircraft.cfg by inserting an extra line in the [aircraft.xx] entry and coordinating it with the options save, where it would automatically select the options based on what aircraft and livery you load up, that would be even better. Of course, that would require changes to both the livery installers and the options menu. This isn't so much a complaint as much as a suggestion. Believe me, if my biggest complaint is that I have to change panel options between airlines, you've already exceeded my expectations as most others just give you one panel, and an option for kgs/lbs....or, as I was typing all of that, I just thought up a way I could do this already, where I could load the aircraft, load the cold and dark panel state, adjust the options and re-save as a "[Airline] Cold & Dark" panel state.I may have answered my own question there, but is the panel state the replacement for the old drop down option?Cheers,Kyle
